Light brings hope. The #quiltblockmania theme this month is Stars, which adorn many of our homes in this holiday season. Ablaze takes a traditional sawtooth star design and sends it flying across your quilt with a bright tail.
My hope is that you find joy in quilting, and use these patterns to share that joy with others. Happy Holidays!
Ablaze pattern
Download the pattern for the Ablaze quilt block here. It is a free gift for you throughout December 2020.
This design mixes an easy foundation paper pieced section with a traditionally pieced star. I think the blocks from the other designers would look wonderful as a starry sampler. Choose your favorites, in a 4×5 layout, to make a small throw around 50″x62″. (Finished size depends on your borders.)
Quilt the Stars
#quiltblockmania is brought to you by a group of quilt designers from around the world. Be sure to visit each blog to collect the complimentary patterns. Have a look at their shops, too – you may find the perfect gift for someone special.
