New AnglePlay® Patterns are here!

I have some exciting news…my new book is ready for purchase!  This is the second collaboration I’ve done with my mom.  LOL, not really, since my whole life is a collaboration with her, but I think you know what I mean.  In 2015 we published Monochromatic Quilts: Amazing Variety, and we have followed up in 2017 with AnglePlay® the Easy Way.

What is AnglePlay®?

As the name implies, this book is devoted to quilt patterns featuring the AnglePlay® templates to create half-rectangle triangles.  AnglePlay® has been around for a while.  Margaret Miller introduced them to the quilting world in 2005, publishing two books that focus on individual blocks that can be combined in a variety of ways to make a quilt. Since Margaret’s retirement, Julie and Rick Luoma of OffTheWallQuilt.com took over distribution of the templates.

My mom has been making AnglePlay® quilts for almost 10 years and realized that the world needs more AnglePlay® patterns!  We hope to satisfy this desire with our new book.  Here is a preview of some of the projects…as seen on Facebook.

Lots of Inspiration with AnglePlay®

Ready to get started? Order your copy of the book through Amazon.  Each patternhas two different colorways, plus we include a coloring page so you can visualize your personal color scheme before committing to fabric.  We offer a variety of projects.  If you want to start small, try a set of placemats or a table runner.  Ready for a larger quilt?  Most of our quilts are a perfect throw size, which  can easily be extended with additional borders.

Pictured are the two versions of the same table runner, Joyful Noise. It is so amazing how you can change the look of a quilt depending on the color choices!

If you are new to AnglePlay®, please contact me with any questions you may have about using the templates. Coming soon – video demonstrations of using the templates!! Julie at Off The Wall Quilt has tutorials as well.  I am hard at work in my quilt studio preparing for a virtual quilt along and an online class.  Please let me know in the comments below which quilt you’d like to make first!
