My new quilt, Strike Through, made its appearance this week! I had so much fun piecing the Star blocks.
You can find all the details on this post. Be sure to scroll to the bottom for the fabric giveaways (plural)!!!
The Tucker Trimmer 1 tool was a big help, and I loved the Combination Star with the on-point squares that I was able to create.

I have time later today to start quilting this top. In the interest of getting a quick finish, I plan to use a pantograph with starbursts. Pictures coming soon!
Sketch-tember
We are two-thirds of the way through the month of September and I have done a pretty good job with my daily sketching videos. You can watch them all on my YouTube channel here.
I did miss a few days because of travel and work commitments, but that’s life. Do you join online challenges? I know the 100 blocks in 100 days is a popular one, but there is absolutely no way I could keep up! As I mentioned, I can’t even manage 30 straight days, LOL.
Pick a Project
This weekend is my monthly sewing day with friends. I am not sure what project to bring along! Of course, I have plenty of UFOs to choose from, I just have to decide. It can’t be something too complicated because I get distracted by chatter. I’ll do some paper piecing and bring along some charity blocks in case I want to switch things up.

Love the layout of your Strike Through!!! Have a fun weekend sewing with friends!
Thank you! I’m still debating which projects to work on at my sew day, LOL.
Hi Andy, I really like your combination star with the on point squares. Looking forward to seeing it quilted. Thanks for hosting and have a great time with your friends.
