Who doesn’t love dinosaurs?!?

Triceratops has always been my favorite. What about you, do you have a favorite dinosaur?

And it’s even better when they are in fabric form. I had the pleasure of making a sample with the new Stomp, Stomp, Roar collection by Stacy Ist Hsu for Moda. Fat Quarter Shop sent me a jelly roll and their new Shortcut pattern, Jelly Roll Twirl.

The pattern came together very quickly by sewing strip sets. My biggest dilemma was where to put the light fabric…in the middle or on the edge of the block. Which would you choose?

It still needs to be quilted, and I am planning to use a fun pinwheel pantograph to keep the movement going in the design. Then, I will donate it to a local charity. I think a young boy or girl will have lots of fun cuddling with these dinosaurs!
